L’Asset – Nomad (digital single)

Nomad is the lead single from L’Asset’s new album that will be released in late 2021. Her debut EP Bird’s-Eye received plenty of attention. She was often heard on Dutch radio stations 3fm, Radio 2 and many others. The EP was picked up very well, so the expectations for Lasset’s next work are high. With ‘Nomad’ she will certainly live up to these expectations: it is a song with a sweet and soft beginning, which is broken open with a brilliant build-up to a strong and powerful ending.

Like every song of L’Asset, there is also a personal story behind ‘Nomad’. The single is about feeling at home in different places. L’Asset (Tessa Lamers) feels at home everywhere. In Groesbeek and Nijmegen where she was born and raised, in Eindhoven where she studied, in Rotterdam where she learned to spread her wings and in Haarlem where she found her love. She dedicated an Instagram Story to this, in which she used the term ‘Nomad’. She has this in a song: a powerful single with a beautiful message that can be heard anywhere in the world.
