On April 1st, 2026, Gentlemen Recordings releases I Am Vermin by Doctor Millar.

Doctor Millar (Seán Millar) is one of Ireland’s most critically respected yet uncompromising songwriters. The Irish Times called him “the poet laureate of Dublin’s dark side.” Hot Press described him as “one of Ireland’s greatest songwriters.” Over three decades he has combined literary songwriting, post-punk directness and a strong theatrical sensibility.

I Am Vermin is his most ambitious work to date: five albums, 42 new tracks, recorded over nine years across Ireland and the United States. Each album explores a distinct musical and autobiographical territory, from stripped-back proto-punk recordings to minimal post-punk textures, from intimate Dublin narratives to a fully realised conceptual suite.

The project will be released as a complete 5-CD box and via Bandcamp. It will not be available on streaming services.
